Meet Arun

Arun was rescued from the streets of Cairo, Egypt, in extremely poor condition. When rescued, Arun’s entire body was swollen, covered in painful sores, and ravaged by severe mange. He was hairless and tested positive for parasites. He required months of intensive treatment, including daily medicated baths, antibiotics, creams, and several weeks of hospitalization while he recovered.

Once he was healthy, Arun was flown to Caledon, Canada, where he was adopted by a loving couple. Today, he is thriving and giving back to his community. Arun recently participated alongside his firefighter dad and fellow Caledon firefighters in a fundraising walk that supported local families experiencing homelessness, hunger, and hardship.
