Meet Ron

K-9 Ron was rescued from Minneapolis Animal Care Center by Unbreakabull Pit Bull Rescue of Minnesota the day he was going to be euthanized over his love of toys. Ron entered our program and was trained in narcotics detection.

Because of his breed Ron struggled to find a job as a police canine. He worked hard every day, attended seminars with some of the top trainers in the world and never gave up.

After about a year and a half in our care, the Delran Police Department saw Ron’s potential and gave him a chance. Ron and his handler breezed through handler school and in the two short weeks they have been on patrol together, K-9 Ron has alerted to drugs in two vehicles resulting in multiple drug arrests and the location of an illegally possessed firearm.
